The only discs that were still compatible with my old Bose Wave Radio II CD system on MP3 mode

I know my Bose Wave Radio II was purchased way back in 2004 or so but it still works great. Unfortunately modern computers with CD writers burn discs too fast, even on minimum speed, for this older radio to read properly. I tried all types of CD-Rs. After I had exhausted all my CD-R options I noticed in my DVD/CD writer that for CD-RW discs it can write as slow as 4X, much slower than CD-R discs. I took the chance and I'm happy i did. Even though I have no intent to rewrite over the existing data, using these as one time use discs is more than enough for my needs,. I'll update the review if I come across any problems but it is looking good for now.

DECENT COMPACT BOX OF CD-RW, WORKS IN MY TASCAM CD RECORDER

A nice little pack of rewritable CD's. I don't use them often but sometimes they're very handy to have. Since I got my Tascam Wav Recorder I've been mastering to USB sticks instead of CDs. It is nice to be able to unrecord a file from a CD and for that only CD-RW will do. These work fine and are reasonably priced. Good music to all!

Great for burning songs

Bought these CDs for my wedding; we're burning CDs for our wedding guests. These CDs are just like any other CDs you can buy at the store but Amazon actually had them for cheaper. Easy to use and in a nice container which helps to keep them safe. It was super easy to burn all the songs we needed onto the CDs. Just perfect!

Easier to label than a flash drive

Professional way to copy large numbers of files (pdf) to clients and customers. They always comment that it's easier to find data stored on the cds vs little bitty flash drives. Hard to find in the stores. Thanks Amazon!

A good, useful purchase

I used to burn Linux on CDs. Only to discover that a few months later, when a new Linux version came out, I had to throw away the earlier CD. What a waste! In contrast, this recordable CD set is extremely useful for me. I can now reformat the CD and keep replacing the linux versions. It is very useful to store software not be frequently used on the computer. I have used only one CD from this pack so far, and the results have come out very good. Overally,a good and useful purchase!

Do you use CD-RW Discs? I have used the Brand name of Verbatim for Years!

I need CD-RW to copy my medical information for a VA claim. VA now requires all records to be burned to a disc. Back in 1987 thru 2000, our company purchased Verbatim discs for us to use to back-up material or to burn information to save or to send to our Headquarters located at Charleston, WV. Thru all of the time we utilized them, I always requested the brand name of Verbatim. I highly recommend this item to anyone that needs the use of discs. And yes, they have to be formatted before burning information.
